I moved from India to the United States in 2016, driven by curiosity and the desire to build something meaningful.
Much of my life has been shaped by structure — leadership, decision-making, and building systems that scale. At the same time, I have always been drawn to quieter things. Observation. Patience. The moments that don’t ask to be seen, yet stay with you.
Photography found its place there.
Not as a pursuit of volume or recognition, but as a way to slow time and pay attention.
It is how I make sense of people, seasons, and the spaces in between.
My work is guided by natural light and a calm, unobtrusive approach. I pay close attention to how light moves through a space, shaping moments gently rather than forcing them.
I photograph people from many backgrounds and origins, shaped by my own experience as an immigrant. Different stories, shared humanity.
I’m drawn to transition. The subtle shifts that mark time passing, and the photographs that quietly become evidence of it.
I work with the same families over years, - returning as children grow, dynamics evolve, and life adds new layers.
